Hosting
Sunday, August 1st, 2004My hosting with infosaic.com expires on the 15th of August. I don’t think I am going to renew my hosting with them for a couple of reasons:
- Lots of people complain to me about the speed of the page. I don’t really know if infosaic is to blame, but I have my suspicions.
- I want to use ASP.NET 2.0 while it is still in beta and I don’t know of any hosting company that provides that at the moment.
- I have too many photos and I can’t afford to pay for the amount of space for the and possibly the bandwidth associated with them.
So, I think I am going to host vatoland.com on my own machne. I am kind of scared about this because I mess with my machine a lot and I reinstall windows more that I really need to but it is the only way that I can think of to solve the afore mentioned problems. So, if the site is down later this month or is frequently down. You will know why.
