Last Day Of Work

Tuesday, October 31st, 2006

I feel good today because it is my last day at MDCi. I have been working there for about 14 months as Java programmer, working mostly on a hosted PBX service. It has been a lot of fun and I have learned a lot in just over a year. Yay for me!

Tuesday, October 24th, 2006

Basically, these celebrities dress up like high school student and have to watch a guy who knows no English, speak English… Fun AND Funny! The catch is that they get beaten with a big stick if they laugh…

New Job

Wednesday, October 18th, 2006

I got offered a new job today. I have been applying for jobs for about the last 2 months or so and after many interviews, I got offered the job I wanted the most of all. I feel good that someone has seen me for my worth and I have been accepted in that respect. I have learned lots in my current job, probably more than I will learn in future jobs… So I feel sad that I am moving on in that respect. Still, I will start my second job as a Programmer/Analyst on November 6th, 2006…

I love this song (Dreams by The Streets)… I think I love the beat even more. It’s soo cyclical.

Don’t fear when you are down, things will get back up… Don’t be too proud when things are up, they will eventually go back down…

Free Hugs In Korea

Wednesday, October 18th, 2006

It feels good to seem some positivity in Korea, not only because of the negative things happening to the north but also to remind me of my home for 3 years…

Also, lots of the video was filmed very close to where I used to work in Chongro, Seoul and I can identify most of the other areas too!

The World Changed On October 9/10

Tuesday, October 10th, 2006

When NK tested a “nuclear” weapon everything changed.

A country with nothing to lose but itself, apparently, now possesses the ability to level SK and Japan in a matter of minutes. They also have the ability to sell these weapons as another item on there shelves.

I have little faith that the world will not once again feel the effects of a nuclear weapon used as a “deterrent”.
